A basketball scorebug for OBS and vMix that runs itself
Paste one link into your streaming software and the score, clock, fouls and timeouts update live from the scorer's table. No graphics operator, no typing scores, no second laptop.

The scorebug (lower left) and the stats board, from the always-running demo game.
How it works
The scorer keeps the game on a laptop or tablet courtside, the same way they would anyway. Every basket, foul, timeout and clock start or stop goes to ScoreTrack Live within a second or two, and the overlay picks it up.
- Add a Browser Source in OBS, or a Web Browser input in vMix, at 1920×1080 with a transparent background.
- Paste the court's link, for example
https://app.scoretrack.live/overlay/leagues/3/courts/1. - That's it. The overlay follows whichever game is on that court: the live game, then the final for a few minutes, then the next game on the schedule. One link per court works all tournament long.
What's on screen
- Score, period and game clock, with tenths of a second in the last minute
- Team fouls and bonus, timeouts remaining and possession
- Team colors, or the jerseys a team is actually wearing that day (the scorer can switch them)
- A stats board for breaks: line score, field goal, three-point and free throw shooting, fouls and leading scorers
- A shot chart panel with every charted shot
Choose a bar, box or strip style, place it in any corner, scale it, and add your own logo, all with options on the link.
Professional graphics? Use the data feed
If your stream uses its own graphics package, take the data instead of our overlay. Every court has a live feed in three formats:
- XML for vMix Data Sources and other title systems that read XML
- JSON for custom HTML graphics and scripts
- Flat key/value for tools that want one simple list
The feed has the clock both as display text and in milliseconds, team names, short names, colors and seeds, period, fouls, timeouts, possession and, on request, shooting stats and leaders. Poll it once or twice a second.
Works with YouTube automation
Pair the scorebug with automatic YouTube live events and each game becomes its own titled video, with the score already on screen.
