Live basketball scores on your WordPress site

Every game on your schedule gets its own page with a live box score, play-by-play and shot chart, and a score bar across your whole site updates as the scorer taps. Nobody re-types a score.

What your visitors get

  • A live score bar across the site, with tabs per division, showing live games, finals and what's next
  • A page for every game, created as soon as the game is scheduled, with the live score and clock
  • Box scores: points, field goals, threes, free throws and fouls for every player, plus rebounds and assists if you track them
  • Play-by-play with a game-flow chart showing every lead change
  • A shot chart of every charted shot, filterable by team, player, quarter and makes or misses
  • The game's YouTube stream embedded right on the page
  • Tournament stat leaders and a profile page for every player, with a game log and shot chart
Full-court shot chart from a championship game: made shots as green dots and misses as red crosses

How it connects

A small WordPress plugin receives games from ScoreTrack Live through the WordPress REST API, using an application password you create for it. ScoreTrack Live pushes changes as they happen. Your site never has to poll the app, and fans' browsers read a small live-scores file instead of loading the whole page again.

  • Your theme stays in charge. Game pages are normal WordPress posts, so your header, menus and sidebar stay as they are.
  • Your editors stay in charge too. Add a headline, a recap or photos to any game page and the app never overwrites them. A "manual score" switch locks a game's score if you ever need to.
  • It's built for crowds. Live updates don't break your page cache, so the site stays fast when every parent checks the score at once.
  • Test mode keeps practice games private until you're ready.
During the 2026 Memphis Yeshiva Invitational, memphisinvitational.com served about 89,000 page views over four days, up to 5,600 visitors a day and about two-thirds of them on phones, with live scores on every page and every game.

Not on WordPress?

Every game also has its own live stats page on ScoreTrack Live that you can link to from any website, social post or QR code at the gym.
